About

Hi, I’m Paula,

I am a Wellbeing / Nutrition Coach & Reflexologist based in Honiton, East Devon and I love all things holistic.  I am passionate about natural health solutions. I believe working with the body is the best way to maintain health.  The body has an innate sense of healing, and it will always try to heal itself, given enough time and the right raw ingredients.

Health is not only about the food we eat but also our reactions to the different stresses in our everyday lives.

HOW THE GUT SUPPORTS OUR MENTAL HEALTH

Your gut health has a profound effect on your overall health. Our gut microbiome is so important to our overall health. Those lovely little bugs that live there in synergy with us, help to create our neurotransmitters, such as serotonin that has a powerful effect on our mood. When we eat foods to support them then we feel less anxiety and tension. If your gut is happy, you are happy, it really is that simple.

WHY DID I DECIDE TO STUDY AND CHANGE CAREERS?

I worked in the airlines and was very privileged to fly long-haul across the world.  I got to experience how different cultures address wellbeing. It was great fun. However, I also got to experience first-hand the negative effects of that lifestyle on my physical body. The ever-changing time zones, early starts, night flights, dehydrating atmosphere, digestive disruption. and the constant lack of quality sleep, to name just a few.

I saw first-hand how myself and colleagues were close to burnout. This experience inspired me to look after my own health and to share that knowledge with others. That is why I studied Naturopathic Nutrition, Reflexology and Wellbeing Coaching.

HOW DO YOU HELP PEOPLE?

My aim is to support you with a whole-body approach to wellness, so that you can live the life that is right for you. There is no cookie cutter solution for everyone, we are all unique. By using a combination of Nutrition Coaching, Reflexology and Wellbeing Coaching techniques, I can help address the underline stress & nutritional deficits of the body. Together, we can then develop a plan of action to get you back to your vibrant healthy self.

Chronic Fatigue Management

I have recently, furthered my studies in Chronic Fatigue/ME/Fibromyalgia with the Chrysalis Effect. I understand the isolation and frustration clients have to search for answers to their extreme fatigue and constant pain; with no dedicated route back to full health. Working as an Accredited Chrysalis Effect Practitioner and using the online Recovery Programme, I can support clients with a roadmap back to health & vitality.

MENTAL HEALTH FIRST AIDER

Mental health has never been more important to our overall wellbeing. I have qualified as a Mental Health First Aider with the organisation SHOUT. It helps to understand what my clients are going through and be able to support them in their time of need.

All my therapies work synergistically but can also be used on a standalone basis. Each therapy is unique to the individual and their personal requirements. I offer one to one support sessions at my clinic in Honiton, East Devon, or online Zoom consultations. Reflexology Treatments in the clinic, or in the comfort of your own home, within a 10-mile radius of Honiton. Mobile visits are subject to travel expenses.
Do get in touch if you are struggling and feeling close to burnout. The answer is only a phone call away.
